world. These roads take you to unbelievable views, old mining camps, ghost towns and elevations over 13,000 feet. The following

Spectacular Mountain Golf
Many people don't know this but Colorado has some of the best mountain
golf courses around. And, there are quite a few to pick from around Ouray.
- Fairway Pines Golf Club: Fairway Pines
is located in Ridgway (about 10 miles north of Ouray). It is a great golf course that is always empty and has spectacular
views of the Rockies. You are sure to see many deer during your round as you play through pine forest at Fairway Pines.
- Telluride Ski and Golf Club: Telluride is known for its skiing but
it also has a fantastic golf course. The course is situated on the side of the ski mountain which brings multiple elevation
changes and some very fun and unique holes. Also, the views from the course are second to none.
- Redlands Mesa Golf Club: Redlands Mesa is a newly designed track that meanders
through a desert-like landscape. It has won multiple awards and is a course that you should not miss when traveling

Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park, a United Nations World Heritage Site, is known
internationally for the fabulous cliff dwellings. In an effort to preserve this priceless archeological treasure, the National
Park Service has excavated and stabilized both mesa top and cliff dwelling sites, chronologically interpreting some 700 years
of mesa occupation so that people today can learn from the past.
