Skiing in Telluride!

Telluride is one of the best ski resorts in Colorado for a couple of reasons. First, it is located in a remote area so
there are never any lift lines and the variety of terrain is exceptional. In fact, in December, 2001, Telluride opened an
entire new area called Prospect Bowl which almost doubled the size of the mountain. It has some great glade and bowl skiing
that can't be missed. And, for those of you that ski the front range resorts in Colorado -- there are never any lift lines
at Telluride!
Telluride is also great because of the amenities that it offers. It has 3 gondolas (one of which is
completely dedicated to taking you from your car in the free parking lot directly to the base for instant access and no walking).
It also has some great restaurants on the mountain that have character and great food.
Getting to Telluride from Ouray is a simple and scenic 40 minute drive. For specific directions, click on the Driving
Directions page.
Also, don't forget to ask about the discounted lift tickets when staying at our townhome in Ouray.
